PROCUREMENT MANAGER- CEMENT/ BUILDING- Jeddah, Saudi Arabia












Our client is a global and Middle East leading Building Materials/ Cement Company based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. They are present in over 50 countries and are a very well respected company to work for with excellent future career opportunities within the organization

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor & control the receipts and issues of materials to ensure quality, quantity and information on stock levels to improve user department satisfaction.
Provide stores layout and identification of materials to ensure easy retrieval and minimum waiting time of user.
Application of selective inventory control techniques for classifying materials to ensure minimization of levels of inventory and inventory costs
Plan Procurement in line with production plan, Sales targets & Stock levels with the organization.
Execute the buying process within the time parameters & ensure periodically the availability of all items needed in sufficient quantities for work.
Analyze information they manage to get in order to determine & recommend optimal local suppliers as well as processes to be applied effectively meet business requirements.
Compare quality & price of general requisites to ensure optimal cost efficiency.
Develop new / innovative ideas to achieve cost savings related to local items.
Update & maintain local approved vendor database to ensure integrity & availability of general local items information.
Settle the supplier payments to maintain continuous positive relationships with vendors.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of experience; some or all of which has been in Cement/ Oil & Gas/ Construction/ Building Materials or Supplies/ Real Estate Development
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, systems development, resource allocation, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

KEY SKILLS:
                                                          
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent PC skills, email, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint.

BENEFITS:
Basic Salary: 30k SAR ($96K USD per annum) + benefits
30k SAR includes base + accommodation + transport allowance
In Addition… + Education + Family Health Cover + Relocation package + GOSI contribution paid for by company.
