JOB PURPOSE
To identify, analyze and respond intelligently to organization’s risks by monitoring Risk Triggers and control response to triggered risks and benefit from the organization’s previous experiences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Apply state-of-the-art risk assessment techniques.
•Identify key risks across the organization and the affiliate strategic business units.
•Analyze risks and design solutions to mitigate them across all business lines
•Respond actively to risks through implementing initiatives to control the changes that have to be taken to mitigate risks.
•Identify the risks that that the organization chooses to retain. Create Hibernating Plans that will be annually revisited for updating.
•Monitor and control risk through conducting Risk Research Data that affect the external environment, External Risk Triggers, Internal Risk Triggers and Triggered Risk Relation to other Risks.
•Implement a Post Risk Management Process to create Lessons Learned Document for the Risk Database.
•Provide effective management of internal and external auditors.
•Manage the internal audit modification plan.
•Manage the modification plan implementation.
•Manage the Compliance Department risks.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Master’s degree in Risk Management or equivalent
Experience:
7 to 10 years in a similar role. Financial management experience is a plus.
Personal Attributes and Abilities:
•Strong knowledge of risk assessment & analysis techniques.
•Excellent leadership and decision making skills.
•Strong analytic mindset with direct experience in leading the implementation and on-going usage of enterprise wide risk infrastructure initiatives.
