Our client is a leading high end fashion/ accessory/ jewelry manufacturer across the Middle East and globally. They have a strong growth track record and are very well positioned to capture future expansion. Combined with its already strong presence in the entire MENA region and the growing importance of the US customer base, and opening new markets in Eastern Europe.
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
Creating and innovating new gold product lines and communicating to the marketing and sales function. Establishing new manufacturing technologies and processes as well as optimization of manufacturing technology of existing products.
KEY DUTIES:
•Establishing new gold technology and manufacturing process.
•Creating and innovating new sellable ideas that transfer the technology know-how into innovating product lines
•Communicating the new developed product lines to the marketing and sales function to assess is they are satisfying the market requirements
•Pilot Series manufacturing.
•Implementation of new concepts in Production.
•Troubleshooting of machines.
•Tooling up of machines and proving out of products.
•Participation in the design of tooling, jigs, fixture and productivity improvement aids
•Re-Engineering of existing products and operation.
•Committed Task Master with focus on alignment to his client’s needs.
•Perform additional duties as assigned.
•Preparation of periodical Management reports
•Understanding marketing and sales requirements and translating the ideas into practical concepts
•Related Consultants in consultation with Technical Development Manager.
•All external agencies involved in research, development, inputs & technology to manufacturing.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
•Bachelor degree in Engineering, preferably Production, Industrial or Metallurgical
•8 years of relevant experience in the Technical field of a (gold) mass production setup manufacturing precision products.
•Hands on experience in tooling up of Precision machines.
KEY SKILLS:
•Sound knowledge of Precision Manufacturing technology.
•Working knowledge of tool design & Engineering.
•Adequate knowledge of metallurgy and metrology.
•Specialization in tooling up of machines and proving out of products.
•Knowledge of Cad Cam Design & Engineering.
• Exposure to design and manufacturing of productivity tools & aids.
• Computer literate.
• Excellent English command (Arabic + Italian) is advantage.
COMPENSATION/ BENEFITS:
•Base salary up to 15k SAR per month/ $48k USD per annum
