IT MANAGER- Cement/ Building Materials - Jeddah, Saudi Arabia














Our client is a global and Middle East leading Building Materials/ Cement Company based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. They are present in over 50 countries and are a very well respected company to work for with excellent future career opportunities within the organization


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contributes to company strategy and direction by inputting into and actualizing corporate objectives through setting and implementing Information
  technology strategy and processes that facilitates and enhances internal communications, reporting and high productivity.
Formulate, oversee design & maintenance and recommend/audit IT infrastructure architecture, standards, and software systems that allow company to
  capitalize on captive knowledge, increase efficiency and respond promptly to market and future growth needs.
Formulate, gain agreement to, monitor and control IT department’s operational and investment budget ensuring the efficient and effective utilization of   resources, the minimization of cost and the availability of needed resource as and when required.
Formulate, develop and continually review Information Technology policies and procedures, monitoring compliance and ensuring consistency in    approach to IT related matters and that staff are aware and understand the extent and application of those to their own work areas.
Manage the IT team, providing leadership, encouraging teamwork and continuous improvement to achieve high performance standards and staff pride in   the execution of IT tasks and responsibilities ensuring continuous monitoring and appraisal of performance and the provision of guidance and expertise    as required.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
A University degree in Computer & Communications Engineering or equivalent Engineering degree.
10+ years experience in area of IT development with at least 4-5 years in a managerial role
A developed network of contacts within the IT industry
Background – Cement/ Oil & Gas/ Construction/ Building Materials or Supplies/ Real Estate Development

BENEFITS:
Basic Salary: 30k SAR ($96K USD per annum) + benefits
30k SAR includes base + accommodation + transport allowance
In Addition… + Education + Family Health Cover + Relocation package + GOSI contribution paid for by company.
