
Head of Marketing - Record Company/ Entertainment Group - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Our client is a large and very well respected Entertainment company in the Middle East. They have divisions for music, online, digital, record label, music videos, TV channels, creative and more. Our client is now looking for experienced, passionate and innovative people to join their expanding company and drive the business forward.
We have an immediate senior vacancy open to all nationalities including UK/ USA applicants looking to relocate to an expanding market where music and entertainment is still growing and exciting.
Essential Criteria:
- 10 years entertainment company Marketing experience
- Strong Senior Marketing background
- Management of Marketing teams with excellent people management skills
- Fluent English & strong communication skills
Main Duties:
- Reporting directly to the CEO
- Creating and executing a marketing communications plan encompassing all elements of the marketing mix, to ensure the company's targets and objectives are met, specifically in relation to building brand awareness and generating sales leads for the markets.
- To manage the Marketing Department Budget.
- Working closely with the sales team to improve lead generation and to deliver on organizational business development targets, and in Identifying and sizing potential new markets.
- Implement and manage all marketing efforts using a range of marketing channels from thought leadership and association participation to speaking opportunities, advertising, sponsorship, and internally hosted briefings.
- Responsible for all sponsorship and PR activity, including building and maintaining contacts with media/journalists to secure ongoing press coverage. Generating and writing press releases, conducting regular surveys to drive press coverage and securing speaker slots for the company at relevant events.
- Working within the management team and all departments to meet company’s objectives.
- Acting as the point of contact on third party partnership agreements and ensuring the brand is being promoted effectively through them.
- Working with relevant industry associations to promote the company.
- Lead project research studies and economic evaluations of current and new potential products to determine future opportunities.
- Analyze potential partner relationships for product lines.
- Responsible for all online marketing including the ongoing development of the company's web presence to ensure high positioning in natural search, managing a detailed online advertising campaign and developing and creating online advertising campaigns.
- The achievement of frequent, timely and positive media coverage for the company across all available media and in budget.
- Working with external agencies when required, ensuring contracted services are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications & Criteria:
- Hold a degree or recognized marketing qualification.
- Extensive experience in PR & Sponsorship, Direct Marketing, Branding & Advertising, and Online advertising.
- Experience in marketing technology solutions (Google ads, analytics, PPC advertising and SEO).
- Experience creating, managing, implementing successful marketing campaigns/programs
- Previous experience of working with creative/marketing agencies.
- Experience of direct and indirect multi-channel marketing.
- Strong organizing skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Excellent written and communication skills. Excellent report writing.
- Excellent computer literacy, in particular Excel.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff.
- Experience in marketing enterprise software solutions technology solutions would be an advantage.
- Ability to develop communications activities for a range of audiences.
- Be a proactive real self starter who is able to work independently.
- Strong organizing skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Competent with writing reports and presenting information in a clear, accurate and concise manner in good English.
