FINANCE MANAGER/ CFO- Outside Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

Plan, oversee and manage the company’s financial and accounting activities and the production of periodical analysis and reports on the company’s figures that inform and shape future strategic direction and diagnose the current organizational health and status.

KEY DUTIES:

As a member of the senior management team, contributes to the company’s strategy and direction by inputting into and actualizing corporate objectives through setting and implementing financial plans, formulation and gaining agreement on operational budget.
Formulate, gain agreement and oversee the abidance to set financial budget through continuous communication with the company’s departments.
Formulate, gain agreement to, monitor and control finance department’s budget ensuring the efficient and effective utilization of resources, the minimization of cost and the availability of needed resources.
Oversee and guide the implementation and abidance to financial and accounting processes, procedures and methods ensuring understanding and abidance  to by all members of the department and the availability of adequate documentation in support of that.
Monitor and oversee general accounting activities ensuring reports and general ledger is continuously up to date and conforms to the company’s accounting  conventions and governing laws.
Oversee corporate planning and cost management activities ensuring that budgets are produced and presented on time and those necessary reports are  accurate and are adequately communicated throughout the organization.
Oversee the investment relationship and cash management activities through building and fostering partnerships and effective communications with    investors and planning and optimizing the company’s cash flows.
Oversee and monitor the implementation and use of enterprise resource planning financial system ensuring compatibility with the company’s accounting  and financial needs and managerial reporting requirements
Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality & environmental management policies, procedures & controls across the Finance Department.
The role holder leads the financial team and as such is central in co-coordinating the production of analysis and reports to inform the top team on current     performance against profitability targets and the performance of different departments
The finance manager needs to keep effective communication channels with all internal departments.



ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

University degree in Finance or accounting
Financial advanced degree or professional qualification desirable
10 years progressive experience in a manufacturing environment financial role including 4 years in a leadership role

Frequency of ISO 14001 non-compliance points.
Frequency of LTI’s, safety incidents and near misses.


COMPENSATION/ BENEFITS:
Base salary up to 50k SAR per month/ $160k USD per annum
Plus accommodation allowance at 25% of base
Plus transport at 10% of base
Plus medical
