Our Client is a major food retailer in Saudi Arabia and is part of a Group who operate throughout the Middle East.

They operate a famous food brand and are looking to expand and develop the brand. They have an exciting new vacancy based in Riyadh for an exceptional Country Manager.  The role will be primarily to drive the expansion which is to grow the business in the region of 100% over the next three years and to start manufacturing in KSA.

Job Overview:

  • Lead the complete KSA business by driving sales and profits including retail, manufacturing, warehousing & logistics and support functions.
  • To implement the companies standard operating controls and procedures by adopting a proactive style to ensure that the standards are bought into and achieved.
  • Agree the annual KSA business plan & budget and then to oversee and drive the agreed plan, reporting regularly upon progress.
  • To manage the property acquirement process from conducting the initial feasibility analysis right through to fit out and store opening.
  • Use inspirational management to engage, coach and motivate your team to achieve outstanding results.
  • Introduce modern, efficient working methods and processes.
  • You will play an essential role in helping secure new business and take an active part of the bid/tender process.


Requirements:

  • An experienced food and beverage General Manager with over 10 years  relevant experience of which some must have been within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
  • Fully bilingual Arabic/English
  • A proven track record of managing and substantially growing a large turnover business
  • You will have a detailed understanding of how to undertake business in KSA and have an established network of contacts to make things happen


Package:

Up to $180k USD (56k SAR per month) gross salary (base/housing/transport) + highly expected bonus up to $75k USD (282k SAR) + family flights + family health + family education
