CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To manage the construction of 2 state of the art manufacturing facilities. The facilities are from different divisions which will drive the need for attention to detail, strong documentation skills and a self motivated approach.

JOB FEATURES

Management of several projects simultaneously - Approx total annual cost amounting SR160m
Management of an individual project amounting to SR100M
Management of 7 to 10 projects at the same time
Management of local and international Consultants, suppliers and contracts involving 15 to 20 different entities
Management of 5 to 7 project engineering staff
Management of 7 to 10 Contractor Project Managers across various projects
Management of in house team including 2 engineers and 2 Design/ CAD operators
Working hours are long due to aggressive objectives, demanding criteria and scarce resources
Location is on the outskirts, which determines long hours and reduces the number of technically capable supply companies

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential
Civil Engineering Degree and Practicing Professional Engineer
Project Management Certificate
Membership/ participation to Internationally distinguished Engineering Associations (ASCE, ASTM, ICRI, ICC, ICBO, etc)
Desirable
Masters Degree in Civil Engineering/ Construction Management
Certified Health and Safety Officer
Basic Electro-Mechanical Training certificate
Structural Engineering Certified Practitioner
Project Management Training and Certificate

EXPERIENCE

Essential responsibilities executed
10 yrs as Project Manager
10 years Construction Management
10 years Contract management
Desirable responsibilities
15 yrs project management experience
10 yrs exposure with multinational/multicultural staff
