
Business Development Head - Private Banking - Oman
Our client is one of the largest banks in Oman offering fully fledged Private Banking services bringing in high net worth customers. Our client provides a wide range of products that include Equities, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Structured products etc. Our client has strong relationships with the best fund managers globally and international leading firms to fund research.
The bank currently has a team of ten Relationship Managers and has ambitious plans for expansion. Our client is planning to grow the current team and to expand this service across the GCC.
The Job
- Developing the strategy and expanding the private banking business across the region.
- Managing a team of Relationship managers – setting targets, monitoring performance etc.
- Developing and maintaining client relationships.
- Budgeting and achieving business targets.
The Person
Ideal candidates should possess:
- Post-qualification experience of 8 to 10 years as Private Banker with leading international private banks and overall experience of 10 – 15 years
- He should have handled a team of private bankers and similar responsibilities.
- Professional degree in investment management, finance or accounting.
- Experienced in the GCC region.
- Very good written communication skills and presentation skills
- Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
The Package
RO 4500 per month salary inclusive of HRA plus bonus and other benefits, depending on profile and experience
